January 4 – All applications due to Catholic High Schools.

January 26 – Three pictures of your child due to Mr. M / Mr. Secrest for Graduation Slideshow (one baby picture, one toddler picture, one recent picture).

January 28 – February 2 – Catholic Schools Week

March 14  – Olympia Field Trip

March 22 – 2nd Trimester Report Cards

April 1 – 5 Easter Break

Tuesday, April 23 (Tentative Date) – Parent informational Happy Hour at Good Society. We will highlight the very busy and exciting final month-plus of events for 8th graders.

Wednesday, May 1, 8:35am – May Celebration in honor of Mary in the church. The 8th graders will be performing the liturgical dance during a school Mass.

May 3, Friday – Service Hours are due.

Tuesday, May 7, 8:30am – Graduation Picture Day. Individual and class pictures. Students must dress up for pictures. Graduation dress code.

May 8th – Kennedy Band Festival

May, TBD – Science Field Trip to Lincoln Park.

May 15th, Wednesday – 8th grade M’s Game at T-Mobile Park

May 17, Friday – Love Books Due; Talent Show in Lanigan Gym (8th grade performs our dance as the show’s final act!)

May 21 – 8th Grade Spring Retreat, Camp Don Bosco

May 24, Friday – Field Day. 8th grade will participate. Noon dismissal.

May 28 – June 4 – FINALS WEEK

June 2, Sunday, 3pm – 8th Grade Baccalaureate Mass for graduates and parents. Dinner and Award Ceremony follow Mass in the gym for graduates and parents only. (7th Grade Parents and Students Serve Dinner) RSVP & Dinner Information

June 5, Wednesday – Fun Day at Alki. Leave school at 9am. Hang out at the beach. Parents are welcome to attend.

Graduation Day, June 6, Thursday

▪   8:30am – Graduation rehearsal, clean up and turn in books. 8th grade students are dismissed early, usually about 10:30 unless the rooms are not clean.

▪   7:00pm – Graduation at Holy Rosary Church; Please arrive at 6:30pm.

▪   8:15pm – Reception in Lanigan Gym for graduates, parents, and guests (planned and served by 6th grade parents)

▪    9:00 – 11:00pm – Graduation Dance/Party for graduates only in Lanigan (6th Grade parents provide chaperones and refreshments).

▪    11:00 – 11:30pm – Clean up

▪   Parents pick up graduates at Holy Rosary (Please no limousines. Thanks for your cooperation.)  If parties are being planned, please consider all-inclusive invitations.

*Students pick up report cards and final projects on Thursday, June 8th, at school.  If report cards aren’t picked up, they will be mailed with diplomas the following week.
